The Pink Elephant was a student project I worked on while getting my undergrad degree in Women and Gender Studies at Arizona State University. The original production was made in partnership with Radio Phoenix in 2019. In this series I interview guests who work in the fields of public health to address sexual citizenship and the lack of adequate sex education in the United States. This is more important than ever as many of our political leaders are seeking to strip away reproductive rights, ban education that includes non-white history and have made it illegal for transgender youth (and care takers) to live authentically.
